Summit County Parade of Homes update

Today was the Realtor Day for the Summit County Parade of Homes. The 24 homes are open to the public the next two weekends. The $10.00 entrance fee is a fund raiser for the Summit Foundation. The ticket is good for all four days.

There were some pretty neat homes on the tour. I went to 14 of them today (any more than that and they really start to blend). My impressions were a lot of stone - inside and out, giant logs, reclaimed barn wood, media rooms, built in coffee makers, wine cellars, and washers and dryers all over the place! I took a few pictures to give you an idea. This row of washers and dryers is not at a Laundromat.

If you only had time to go to two homes - I would pick 486 Sage Creek Canyon Dr just north of Silverthorne. It's a beautiful log home on the Blue River. 3 bedroom over 4000 square feet, just nice and open and very "livable". The other two are in the Breckenridge area. 0165 River Park Drive just south of Breckenridge. It's the other extreme over 8000 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 7 baths, 12 fireplaces (at least 2 of those outside), the home just goes on and on with a surprise around every corner.

Stop by my office (corner of 5th and hwy 9 in Silverthorne) for the guide to the homes.
