Vacant Land Snapshot

Summit County is comprised of around 620 square miles, 80% of the land is public managed by the forest service and BLM. That means only around 150 square miles are in private hands. No wonder there are predictions that Summit County will be virtually "built out" by 2030. You can find out more about that at the Summit County government web site - go to planning down on the right.

Right now there are 436 listings of vacant land. 281 of those are in the Breckenridge area. The average list price is $619,909 and the median price is $379,000.

84 are listed for under $200,000 and 56 for over one million.

269 have the lot size of less than a acre where 42 are over five acres.

12 are under contract

68 have sold in the last 12 months. The average price was $350,154 and the median sold price was $300,000.

I have a history of the prices in Summit County on my web site.
