As a kid my family lived in Kansas, Indiana, and Illinois, with vacations spent in Colorado. We moved to Summit County in 1978 when my family bought a restaurant, store, and cabins in Heeney on the Green Mountain Reservoir. After 7 years of people asking me what was for sale, I got my real estate license. That was over 25 years ago, time flies when you are having fun. We sold the restaurant and store, so I can devote all my time to real estate. I still live in Heeney with one cat and two dogs. When not working, I enjoy hobbies such as quilting, reading mysteries, cross country skiing, "site" seeing in Colorado, and fantasizing about time travel. I am on the board for the Lower Blue Volunteer Fire Department. In 1994, I received the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation and in 1995 my Broker's license. I am always looking for ways to continue my real estate education. I love selling real estate in Summit County, the secret is working only with people whom I like. Real Estate is a challenge that I enjoy.
